On 10th of October, within the project ‘Let’s Rock the Central, Eastern and Western Europe with Transnational Local Action Groups’, supported by International Visegrad Fund, the company Inspiro Consulting, National Institute for Economic Research and Nitra University organized a study trip to Local Action Groups from Nitra for representatives from Moldova and Macedonia who are supported in creation the Local Action Groups based on practical experience of V4 countries. The trip was organized under following agenda:
I. Field visit of LAG Radošinka
Visit of implemented projects;
Meeting with Manager of LAG- (discussion about the LAG strategy and regional labelling)
II. Field visit of LAG Kopaničiarsky region
Visit of the multifunctional farm- discussion with the farmer as a private member of LAG;
Visit of the implemented projects (brewery, cooking of the jam, chocolate factory);
Meeting with the mayor of the Podkylava municipality as a public member of LAG;
Meeting with the manager of LAG.
The group consisted of representatives of Călărași sub-region (selected for creation the LAG) and representatives of LAG from Macedonia
Besides the functionality and experience of LAGs in Slovakia, the participants gained experience on how to develop regional and local brands and also visited some promotion and selling centers for local products.
